The European Foreign Policy Scorecard is an innovative project that provides a systematic annual assessment of Europe’s performance in dealing with the rest of the world, analysing the performance of the 28 member states and the EU institutions on 65 policy areas arranged around six key issue areas: Russia; United States; Wider Europe; Middle East and North Africa; Asia and China; Multilateral issues. The presentation of the Scorecard will provide the Baltic perspective on the European Foreign Policy and will feature Prof. Dr. Vaira Vīķe Freiberga (Former President of Latvia, Member of ECFR), Ms. Kadri Liik (Senior Policy Fellow at ECFR), Prof. Dr. Andres Kasekamp (Deputy Director of the Estonian Foreign Policy Institute, Professor of Baltic Politics, University of Tartu), Dr. Dovilė Jakniūnaitė (Assoc.professor at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University), and Ms. Diāna Potjomkina (Research fellow at LIIA). It will be moderated by Dr. Andris Sprūds (Director of the LIIA). The opening speech will be delivered by Dr. Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica (Parliamentary State Secretary for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia).
